So last night I went to a strip club for the first time with Dee and her friend Brandy. We went to see another friend of our’s strip during amateur night. I have to say, strip clubs, what is the big whoop? Dee was nervous the whole night for some reason, I was mostly bored. Drinks were $3.50 a bottle! We weren’t even in the city! Oh and here’s the weird part. A bottle of Busch Light costs the same amount as a bottle of Heineken. That doesn’t make any sense does it? If I had known as much I would have been drinking Heineken all night! The club was called Silver Slipper Saloon and was about an hour south in Ottawa. The strippers, for the most part, were very meeehhh. Some of them were smokin though, I suppose. Our friend was awesome. A few of the kids in our group, myself included, went and sat up next to the stage during her dance. It was excellent. Oh, did I mention that this friend is the same girl I asked out last week? Either way, very enjoyable. Met a new kid too, named Heather. She also danced for amateur night and was very good. Coming to Dee’s party this friday.
Oh yeah, we’re throwing a party for Dee this friday night. 80’s theme. Hoping enough people show up for it to be worth our energy. LAUREN ISN’T COMING. WTF. Either is Josh but, meh, I can’t say I’m surprised. I mean, I’ve blown off every party he’s thrown since he moved to Chicago, and that includes the one he’s having Saturday. I just… I do not like techno/house/not made with insturments music. I feel bad about it though. Kinda.
About to go to lunch with Jennifer. Mmm Junction.
P.S. Why did I not play Def Jam ICON before? This game is awesome!

I’m the worst blogger alive. I keep meaning to update, then never ever do. It’s awful. Like, I found this fucking sweet candy dispenser that looks exactly like a wiimote, and I meant to post about it with all these photos and shit but never did. I also was going to post after I got this job offer, but never did. There are dozens of reasons I’ve wanted to write on here, but just haven’t done it. So, here it goes, one long post explaining my life since April 22nd that isn’t a transcript of a conversation or only about video games.

Fuck. I went out Saturday night and, while I had a great time, I came back with something I didn’t want. I don’t mean an ugly girl or anything. I came back with a chest cold. Seems like pretty much everyone did. Breeding ground of disease or something. Finally got my wireless network running. It’s amazing! I can access the internet from any room at any time and not have to worry about disconnects! Ugh. I feel like taking a nap. Another nap. Also, happy late b’day Ems. I would have drawn you something but… no tablet. :c
I started playing Condemned 2. It is terrifying.

So my birthday was April 2nd. I meant to post an update then, but I was busy, being drunk. One of the things I got was this laptop. It is really pretty amazing. I think it is safe to say that I love it and any doubts I had about owning a laptop are gone. More blah blahs about blah blah below the cut.

For more reasons than I can explain right now, this was easily the worst Valentine’s Day of the last twenty years. Fuck it, I’m going to bed.

…was this weekend. It all started on Chrissy’s birthday. We went to see Cloverfield at 3:10 and it was just… it was amazing. A great great film. After that we went to the Salvation Army and Dom said “Good on ya” so many times that I thought I was watching “Neighbours” which is a show I used to love so I was down with it. Then came the setup. Our house looked pretty boss. Caution tape strewn around the porch, the windows newpapered up. Out of one window you could see a chalk drawing of a nuke going off. On another we had a board for people to draw their own monsters. After Lauren arrived, we covered one entire wall with a scene of Chicago burning down. And everyone was in costume.
Oh hay, r u a fan of Bioshock?
