So last night I went to a strip club for the first time with Dee and her friend Brandy. We went to see another friend of our’s strip during amateur night. I have to say, strip clubs, what is the big whoop? Dee was nervous the whole night for some reason, I was mostly bored. Drinks were $3.50 a bottle! We weren’t even in the city! Oh and here’s the weird part. A bottle of Busch Light costs the same amount as a bottle of Heineken. That doesn’t make any sense does it? If I had known as much I would have been drinking Heineken all night! The club was called Silver Slipper Saloon and was about an hour south in Ottawa. The strippers, for the most part, were very meeehhh. Some of them were smokin though, I suppose. Our friend was awesome. A few of the kids in our group, myself included, went and sat up next to the stage during her dance. It was excellent. Oh, did I mention that this friend is the same girl I asked out last week? Either way, very enjoyable. Met a new kid too, named Heather. She also danced for amateur night and was very good. Coming to Dee’s party this friday.
Oh yeah, we’re throwing a party for Dee this friday night. 80’s theme. Hoping enough people show up for it to be worth our energy. LAUREN ISN’T COMING. WTF. Either is Josh but, meh, I can’t say I’m surprised. I mean, I’ve blown off every party he’s thrown since he moved to Chicago, and that includes the one he’s having Saturday. I just… I do not like techno/house/not made with insturments music. I feel bad about it though. Kinda.
About to go to lunch with Jennifer. Mmm Junction.
P.S. Why did I not play Def Jam ICON before? This game is awesome!

Say hello to Kermit. He’s a travel bug that Walsh and I found geocaching last week. We didn’t mean to grab him, but we did. Hmm… that sounds weird. We took him, not knowing what he was. He was in a tree stump, in an ammo box, and it was dark and cold out. In the car we discovered that he was a travel bug. Now we need to drop him off somewhere.
This geocaching thing is pretty fun. I figure we’ll get a lot more into it after I get a proper GPS unit, and when it gets a bit warmer. We still have at least two hides we want to do so…
I rented Manhunt 2 the other day. I’m not sure if any of you have played it but, if you have a Wii, you must at least rent this game. Both my roommate and I have had a blast playing it. There is just something so visceral about the game. ugh I love it. I actually stood up and shouted at the tv as I was beating a guy with crowbar because he almost killed me. That and the “Sexual Deviants” level sold the game to Chrissy straight away.
I went out twice this week. It had been such a long time since I’d been to a bar, so it was really nice. The first night was simple, just drinking with Walsh, playing darts, mocking Dave. Simple. The second night… oh man… Chrissy, Brandon, Jo, Bev, Becki, Dave, Greg, just too many people to list. I got so wasted man. Way too much. Also, I sat on Jessica’s lap in the back room at Otto’s. Ohoho! I told Becki I loved her like 500 times. Too bad she is gay and I am a dude. I also called Shauntae when I was walking home drunk. It was hilarious and stupid. I should do that more often haha.
The fog has come back to DeKalb, and with a vengeance! It’s was so thick yesterday that you could barely see from my porch to the stop sign on the street, and I live one house away from the corner! I remember driving Chrissy to work and not being able to see it until we were right on top of it. It sucked. I drove to Malta last night too, in the dark! That was totally stupid. I could not see more than 15 feet in front of my car at any given time. I’m pretty lucky I didn’t die. Also, Pyramid Head showed up with some Nurses. It was awful. Look, it’s the red antenna from 7th st!

So I went out drinking tonight with Chrissy and Laurenzo. Or Lorenzo. Your call. Anyway, I had a great time. Chrissy and I downed three pitchers and a rum and coke. Lorenzo had three rum and cokes, I believe. There were two live bands preforming. One was this girl, who was just boring and repetitive. The other was this guy Mer, who I love. He’s always a good time. There was much singing along. At one point, early in the night, I sent Annette a text message because of a song he played and in the end I ended up calling her to sing “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls as Bob Dylan would. I don’t know why, but I feel like I’d do nearly anything that girl asked me to do. It must be the way she tells me to do things with such authority.
Anyway, I’m tired as all hell. I think I’m going to go reheat some pizza, eat it, and then pass out. Good night, you princes of men.
P.S. The Friday Five! I know it’s not technically Friday anymore, but whatever.
1. Would you rather have a fun job that doesn’t pay well or a boring job that does?
That’s a hard one. I think in the end, I’d want to have a job that I love. A well-paying boring job would be nice at first, but I’d hate it so much in the end. Besides, if I was struggling that much, I’d get a roommate, or god forbid, A WIFE!
2. Would you sacrifice your morals for a job?
I was going to say “Too Late” for this, but I realized that the things I do, that I normally wouldn’t do, don’t really count as I pretty much hate my customers on a very base level. So no, I wouldn’t.
3. Would you ever take a job that requires you to be in costume?
Hellllllllll yeaaahhhh. How fun would that shit be? Being a totally different person while working, or even better, being a dick while dressed up as Winnie the Pooh? Awesome!
4. What is your fantasy job?
I would love to get a job in the video game industry. For some reason, that just seems like interactive art to me. Plus, how many other jobs affect people’s daily lives like that? I’ll probably end up doing design though. I can’t help it, it’s what I’m good at.
5. Would you like fries with that?
Fuck yes I would! Curly please.
