The Apocalypse…

Posted on January 28th, 2008 at 3:18 pm

…was this weekend. It all started on Chrissy’s birthday. We went to see Cloverfield at 3:10 and it was just… it was amazing. A great great film. After that we went to the Salvation Army and Dom said “Good on ya” so many times that I thought I was watching “Neighbours” which is a show I used to love so I was down with it. Then came the setup. Our house looked pretty boss. Caution tape strewn around the porch, the windows newpapered up. Out of one window you could see a chalk drawing of a nuke going off. On another we had a board for people to draw their own monsters. After Lauren arrived, we covered one entire wall with a scene of Chicago burning down. And everyone was in costume.

Oh hay, r u a fan of Bioshock?

I had a wrench and that chain tattoos, but the are totally not visible in this shot. There were so many great costumes, ranging from all kinds of post apocalyptic themes. The party turned out great, and the house turned out TRASHED! Wow, it was so bad. Amazingly, Chrissy and I managed to have it spotless again in like 3 hours. We have super powers, I’m pretty sure. Then Chrissy went to dinner with her parents, and came back with something magical…

ROCKBAND.Rock Band…

This game is so much better than Guitar Hero that it is quite ridiculous. Lauren and Chris came over last night, and the four of us rocked our faces off. It is the best group game I’ve ever played I think. Even now, Chrissy is the living room breaking the drum pads haha.

I need to shower, and go to my parents house soon. I need to do laundry and we’re having a family dinner. Should be… exciting?

Really, so far I’ve enjoyed the guitar in RB more so than the guitar in GH3. I still suck at nailing solos using the mini-buttons high up on the neck though. D:

P.S. for some reason I spelled enjoyed as “injoyed” when I first started to type it.
