You know how sometimes some bad shit happens like you miss a bus or get looked over for a promotion and you are like, “Oh man wtf why is my life so hard? Bad shit always happens to me!” Well let me tell you kids.

Long story short, I decided to cut across a counter at work to save time. I didn’t realize that I had never done this at the store I was at before. I also didn’t realize that the half wall coming off the ceiling was lower at this store. I also didn’t realize I was bleeding until I had walked away from the impact and my coworker asked about it. Staples are no fun. Either is spending 3 hours in the ER and getting your second catscan in under a year. Ugh. I made this informational comic to not only remind myself, but to make sure no one else does something this stupid.
In other news, I beat the shit out of the game Bioshock, and it is totally awesome. Totally. Awesome. I’m in the process of playing Assassin’s Creed. It’s also a very cool game, but I think the rapid pacing of Bioshock is causing it to seem rather slow going. Still, very fun.
Also, I found a school I’m actually going to go out of my way to attend. It’s called Flashpoint Academy and is in Chicago. It’s basically a media based school which consists of only four majors. They’re film making, sound engineering, video game design, and visual effects/animation. Walsh and I are going to interview with the school and hopefully join the game design major. The campus is amazing and their computer labs, basically every room, are awesome! They’re actually ahead of the computing curve, and that’s pretty hard to do. Also, I’m thinking of quitting retail and getting into blue collar work, at least temporarily. I’m just not making enough to live on at Road Ranger, and there is a local warehouse job that starts at $14 an hour. Easy work, picking orders, and a fat pay check. At least compared to my current one.
I’ve had like 5+ people living in my house for the past 2 days. Tonight there will be six of us sleeping here. It’s cool having my friends around, but it’s not cool getting kicked off the TV when I’m trying to play Creed. OH WELL, I’m sure they’ll all be gone by tomorrow afternoon, and I will stab the crap out of people after that. As for tonight, I think I’m going to crash.
