Burned by a video game…

Ain’t that a bitch?
Fuck. I went out Saturday night and, while I had a great time, I came back with something I didn’t want. I don’t mean an ugly girl or anything. I came back with a chest cold. Seems like pretty much everyone did. Breeding ground of disease or something. Finally got my wireless network running. It’s amazing! I can access the internet from any room at any time and not have to worry about disconnects! Ugh. I feel like taking a nap. Another nap. Also, happy late b’day Ems. I would have drawn you something but… no tablet. :c
I started playing Condemned 2. It is terrifying.

So my birthday was April 2nd. I meant to post an update then, but I was busy, being drunk. One of the things I got was this laptop. It is really pretty amazing. I think it is safe to say that I love it and any doubts I had about owning a laptop are gone. More blah blahs about blah blah below the cut.
I know there’s no drawing, but this is too funny to not pass on.
“Iran So Far”

For more reasons than I can explain right now, this was easily the worst Valentine’s Day of the last twenty years. Fuck it, I’m going to bed.
…was this weekend. It all started on Chrissy’s birthday. We went to see Cloverfield at 3:10 and it was just… it was amazing. A great great film. After that we went to the Salvation Army and Dom said “Good on ya” so many times that I thought I was watching “Neighbours” which is a show I used to love so I was down with it. Then came the setup. Our house looked pretty boss. Caution tape strewn around the porch, the windows newpapered up. Out of one window you could see a chalk drawing of a nuke going off. On another we had a board for people to draw their own monsters. After Lauren arrived, we covered one entire wall with a scene of Chicago burning down. And everyone was in costume.
Oh hay, r u a fan of Bioshock?

So I went to the doctor this morning. Ears are now clean. It’s weird, there’s still some liquid in them, but despite that, my hearing is fucking retarded. He said that my left ear had such a bad build up that it was blocking the ear drum from working at all and that I was hearing through vibrations in the ear tissue. It’s cleared now and it feels odd, which he said would happen. Took three tries to clear it too. I think it had been blocked for so long, that I no longer noticed it was blocked.
Downloaded the currently free XBox Live Arcade game Undertow last night. It’s a pretty cool game, unlike Yaris. Will def play it a lot in the future. By the way, any Live members on my friend list that were unawares, Undertow is free until Sunday as Microsoft’s way of saying they’re sorry for the shitty connections throughout late December and early January. It’s a good game too, so get on it!
P.S. The demos of The Club and Turning Point are pretty lame. Just sayin.
